Megumi Oka is registered as a Patent and Trademark Attorney since 2017. She is also a specific infringement lawsuit counsel, and a pharmaceutical chemist. Her previous work experience enables her to help especially those who have newly started business/service or have a new product to promote. She can utilize her 15+ years of experience in IP department of pharmaceutical corporations, especially in consultations and trademark filing from a viewpoint of an applicant. She places great weight in conducting prior registration search in order to provide appropriate insight and advice as necessary. She has drafted patent specifications in the field such as chemistry, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and beverages, as well.

Tomomi Ahmer has a bachelor’s degree in English language and linguistics and a Paralegal Certificate (ABA approved). She worked as a paralegal for four years in total in a general practice law firm and a real estate law firm in New York, and then worked in a patent attorney’s firm in Osaka for 15 years, working with and assisting patent attorneys for the preparation of patent applications to be filed and prosecuted in other countries. Most of her work involved communicating verbally and in writing in English. She wishes to bring her best to assist our clients using her work experience as office manager and as IT personnel as well as her communication skills.
